Dear Resident,
We’re halfway through the quarter and your local neighbourhood team has been tackling the issues you’ve told us matter most in the northern sector of Peterborough.
These involve tackling anti-social behaviour in West Town, the Cresset Centre and at Peterborough City Hospital.
Work has included additional high visibility patrols in hotspot areas, tacking the problem of nuisance vehicles in Midland Road by issuing tickets, Other areas of focus have been Thorpe Lea Road, Holdich Street and Percival Street.
We have been working closely with the Cresset Centre and the hospital concerning ASB, including issuing banning orders to problem individuals and supporting staff by offering a visible presence. We have also contributed to a video aimed at supporting hospital staff, improving victim engagement and increasing positive outcomes.
I hope this gives you a brief snapshot of some of the work the team has been doing to address the issues that matter to you. You can find out more information on our website.
If you’d like officers to focus on another issue, please look out for details of quarterly priority community meetings. These will be promoted via eCops and also on the Policing Peterborough Facebook page.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards,
Tim Goddard Communications officer |
